Frequently asked questions

What is a leather laminate?

A leather laminate is a decorative surface sheet with a leather-look finish, used to cover wardrobes, furniture, wall panels and other interiors. It gives the look and feel of leather without the upkeep of real leather.

Where can leather laminates be used?

Wardrobe internals, shutters, furniture, wall panelling, headboards, TV units and other interior surfaces.

What colours and designs do you offer?

We offer 15 colours, each available in 3 designs. See our Products page for the range.

What sheet sizes are available?

Our standard sheet size is 8 × 4 ft. A 10 × 4 ft size is available made to order.

What does "90° bendable" mean?

The laminate can be folded around a corner at a 90° angle, so a single sheet wraps the edge of a panel with no separate edge piece.

How is the 90° bend done?

The laminate comes with a backer behind it. A V-groove cutter cuts a V-shaped groove into the backer, and the sheet then folds cleanly at 90°.

Do I need edge pasting or edge banding?

No. Because the sheet bends around the corner, there is no visible edge pasting and no seam at the fold. But you can do it according to your taste.

Can my carpenter do the bending?

Yes, with a V-groove cutter.

How do I clean leather laminate?

Normal wet cloth rub, light soap works the best.

Is it scratch or water resistant?

Yes.

Do you have catalogues?

Yes. We have a showroom catalogue with 15 colour books, each showing 3 designs, and a mini catalogue that's easy to carry and share with architects and designers. Contact us on WhatsApp or call to get them.
